Eve here! Halloween is my favorite time of year and I’m so excited to celebrate this month! My friends and I have been thinking of the spookiest costumes for weeks! I love every part of Halloween and when I was younger I was pretty good at playing tricks on people, practicing my evil anyway I could. I used to think that I didn’t have it in me to be good and kind. However, I had a change of heart and have been trying to show more kindness toward everyone lately.

You all know how much I LOVE designing clothes! I’ve made plenty of Halloween costumes for myself and my friends over the years. My closet is really starting to fill up and I thought that instead of throwing out my old Halloween costumes…I can donate them to a kid whose family can’t afford one! That’s one way I can show my kindness toward others and help them look great on Halloween night! While most kids get a new costume every year, there are some kids whose families cannot afford new costumes or any costume at all. By donating my old Halloween costumes, I’m helping kids have a fantastic Halloween night! 

I feel so happy knowing that my costumes are going to be used again by other kids! It would mean a lot to me if you would donate your old costumes too!

All you have to do is collect your old Halloween costumes and put them in a box. Then email events@ocdanceproductions.com to find out where to drop them off. Costumes will be collected until October 15th, but if you miss that deadline feel free to drop off your costumes at a local family shelter anytime before Halloween.
