The Glass Slipper Princess says it is very important to always remember to “find courage and be kind.” She couldn’t think of a better way to march into the springtime than by giving back to one of her favorite organizations, the Friendly Center with kindness just like they do.

The Friendly Center is a Southern California “family and community resource center dedicated to improving the lives of children, adults, and seniors by helping them move toward self-sufficiency through immediate assistance and a variety of educational, life skills, and family support programs.” The Friendly Center is doing an Easter basket drive to assist families in need!

Items Needed (as stated on The Friendly Center’s website)

  • Easter basket(s)

Each basket should contain the following and be wrapped in cellophane.

**Baskets are for children up to 6th grade.

  • One hygiene item (i.e. shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste, or body wash)
  • Chocolate bunny
  • Easter candy
  • One gift item (i.e. crayons/coloring book, cars, stuffed animal, jump rope, etc.)
  • Other fun items are welcome of course

Purchase your basket(s) and items or use the next couple of weeks to do a collection drive! Assemble your basket(s) with the items inside and wrap in cellophane. Drop off your basket(s) at one of the following locations on April 12 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Orange Office – 147 W Rose Ave, Orange, CA 92867

Placentia Office – 900 S Melrose St, Placentia, CA 92870

If you would like to volunteer on The Friendly Center’s basket distribution day please call (714) 769-8869.

Spread your kindness with your friends and family by letting them know of your upcoming efforts and asking them to join in! What better way to spend time with your loved ones than by giving back to your community, just as the Glass Slipper Princess’ woodland friends did by putting together a beautiful outfit for her for the ball.

Tag us at @ever_after_productions and @friendlycenter to show us all of the fun you have while putting your donations together!
